as big as a school uci is, its crazy how in just one quarter it became soo much smaller people wise.
everyone is interconnected in some weird way; thyre such and such’s spoppers, someone else’s staffer, a mentor from kaba, part of the same kfam, someone’s kuya/ate from last year, and the affiliated world makes everyone in some way related.. literally.
looking back at my last quarter, i cant believe i’ve gotten to meet THAT many people O__O and i’d say that as a person i grew so much more in those 10weeks than i did in any other time period of my life.
haha overall, i think it fall quarter was a pretty good run for me^__^
- week 0 funsies with schelle, nicole & sam
- greek recruitment
- staffer helping me bounce back from disappointment
- deciding to go a kaba meeting by myself and meeting some of the most amazing people on campus
- designing & spray painting the friendship games shirts for kaba w/ histolicity & justin
- making gateway my 2nd home and meeting leah<3
- midterms & finals craziness
- first successes & much needed wake up calls with my classes
- kappa rush/getting my bid
- shocktoberfest & dancing with my friends until the am
- getting my bigsis&twin @MDT
- bonding with my pledge sisters<3333
- life of a pledgeee
- spending halloween working on chem labs @gateway until 3am with benz
- being sick & coughing for foreverrrrr
- catch up time with mforms at jamba, berkeley dog, and wetzels pretzels :D
- XCs, PA party (shieeeettt)
- dem frat guys (/__-)
but! it’s time to face the next quarter! its going to be even harder as far as my classes itself and a helllllofalot harder pledging wise, but I’m going to pull through, on both. i’ve met too many people that see me as both “ms. chemistry major” and a “kappa pledge.”
i cant fail on the very things that define me.. awhfuhhh.
winter quarter, please don’t kick my ass too much.
